I think before I mention anything else, I should bring up a fact that a lot of parents look over. Baby bedding is incredibly cute, and if you are a new parent you might think that it's an absolute necessity. However, there have been some instances where babies have died from SIDS or suffocation. To prevent SIDS, many families use firm mattresses with tight-fitting sheets in cribs or bassinets. The families do not allow pillows, stuffed animals, or fluffy bedding in the cribs. In cold weather, the families dress the infants warmly in well-fitted clothing.
Babies blankets should also not be placed over their heads. It has been recommended that the infants are only covered up to their chest with their arms exposed. This will help eliminate the chances of the infant moving the blanket over their head. Some parents will want to use something else called a bumper for the baby crib but unfortunately there have been instances of babies also posing a hazard. Just be extra safe and extra cautious with your baby, read information online, read e-books, read baby information books, etc. Obviously you want to take care of your baby for as long as possible but the first 6 months are the most critical times.

All kinds of baby bedding are available for your old baby or toddler, usually you can find bedding sets that include everything in the set. This is nice because then you don't have to buy everything separately! There are also bed set themes which include themes such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Carebears, Monsters Inc, Winnie The Pooh, Disney, Scooby Doo, Hulk, Thomas The Train, Tonka, Spiderman, Nascar, Dumpy, Diego and more. Yea, you really do have quite a lot of choices to choose from! Sets also include designs, colors and other things. Really if you can't find it, then it probably doesn't exist!
People that don't have kids often ask if the parents know the babies sex, and if they don't know the sex what color they plan on painting the room. Any parent or any person that knows about this kind of stuff knows that if you are having a baby or know someone that is having a baby and they don't know the exact sex of the baby its a good idea to stay away from blues and pinks! Stay with neutral colors such as green, yellow, and orange. These are all good colors for the baby, it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl!
